RC Vannes vs Montpellier Hérault · Top 14

Montpellier Hérault secured a 26–12 victory at RC Vannes on Saturday to claim their first win of the Top 14 campaign. The 14-point margin lifted the visitors to sixth in the table after two rounds, while Vannes remain winless and anchored in 13th place.

Both sides arrived on losing streaks, but Montpellier broke theirs emphatically. The win gives them a 2–1 advantage in the head-to-head series, reversing Vannes' 37–24 home triumph in February 2025. Vannes have now lost both their opening fixtures and sit bottom of the early standings.
