History

RFC Haarlem was formed on 1 April 1980, when the Haarlem club Kinheim merged with HBC from neighbouring Heemstede. Promoted to the Ereklasse in 2020, it reached the national final in its first top-flight season (2021-22) and lost to DIOK only after extra time. Its home is Sportpark Van der Aart in Haarlem-Noord, where a new clubhouse opened in 2019; the club has men's, women's, youth and touch rugby sections and a strongly international membership.
